Accessibility
Updated: Feb 2026. We aim to make this site accessible to as many people as possible.
Our commitment
We design and build with accessibility in mind, including keyboard navigation, readable contrast, and clear structure.
Standards
We aim to align with WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines and improve the site as new content is added.
- Semantic headings and landmarks.
- Keyboard-friendly controls and focus states.
- Readable text sizes and line spacing.
Testing and improvements
We review accessibility when we ship new pages, update the estimator, or change navigation. This includes keyboard checks, color contrast reviews, and screen reader spot checks for critical flows.
If you encounter an issue, sharing the page URL, device, and browser helps us reproduce and fix it faster.
Assistive technology support
We aim to keep compatibility with current versions of major browsers and assistive technologies. If a tool or browser combination causes issues, report it and we will prioritize a fix or provide an alternate format.
- Keyboard navigation for all primary actions.
- Visible focus states for links, buttons, and inputs.
- Text alternatives for key images and charts.
Known limitations
Some interactive charts and tools may not fully convey information to all assistive technologies. We are actively improving these areas.
- Some charts may rely on color alone without a text equivalent.
- Range sliders can be harder to use on some screen readers.
- Dense comparison tables may require additional navigation support.
Alternate formats
If you need content in an alternate format, such as a plain text summary or a simplified table, contact us and we will provide it when possible.
We can also help translate estimator guidance into a step-by-step checklist if a visual tool is not usable for you.
Feedback and support
If you encounter accessibility barriers, let us know and we will try to provide the information in a more accessible format.
